ABOUT THE ENDEAVOUR TRACK
The Endeavour Track for SIMC2.0 is a mathematical and computational modelling challenge based on real-world applications. We are honoured to have Associated Professor Tong Xin as the Chief Judge and Assistant Professor Ne-Te Duane Loh as the Chief Setter. Read more about their profiles here.
The Challenge is open to schools worldwide for students aged 16 – 18 years old or studying the equivalent of Grades 10 – 12 (as of Year 2026)
FORMAT
The working language of the event is English. Participation is team-based. Each school is allowed one team consisting of three students.
Each team may use any resources such as textbooks, computers, and materials available on the Internet. Teams are to work on the challenge independently, with no assistance from anyone outside the team of 3 students.
Any use of AI tools must be acknowledged, and a record of the prompts used and responses generated must be documented for submission. We rely on an honour system for these rules, and will require teams to submit a declaration of integrity.
Judging and Awards
Judging will be held on 28 May 2026, in which teams will do an oral presentation to the judges. The panel of judges comprises faculty members and researchers from Singapore’s institutions of higher learning and research institutions. The Chief Judge of SIMC 2.0 2026 is a senior faculty member from the National University of Singapore.
Projects will be reviewed by an expert panel, which may recognise outstanding work for its creativity, clarity of thought, and teamwork. The following awards will be given.

Final Showcase
On 29 May 2026, teams will present their projects to their peers, including local and overseas senior high student participants from the Endeavour Track. The showcase will serve as a celebration of learning, providing students with a platform to articulate their ideas, share their project journeys, and engage with the wider tech community.
