Present(ation)s: Unwrapped

Ho ho ho! Christmas may be 210 days away, but for the participants of the SIMC2.0 Endeavour track, “Christmas” has just arrived, wrapped in the form of a present(ation)!
Today, we interviewed a few schools to find out how they were feeling after unboxing their “presents” and understand some of their personal reflections on the challenge and presentation.
What does Santa have in store for the teams?

First up was our interviewee from the National Gifted Secondary School of Laos, who shared this with us, “I feel so relieved, like releasing all the stress the past few days”.
Indeed, stress was the common factor for many of our international participants – who have had to deal with jet lag, unfamiliar environments and of course, the perplexing challenge itself.
We ventured further to see what other participants were thinking and feeling.
Students from the High School affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University and Alferov School felt that the presentation was the most “challenging” aspect of the challenge. Despite the difficulty, they felt that it was an enriching experience, remarking that they still had “a lot of fun”.
As we looked around, we noted that the mood was indeed upbeat – and were glad the students found the overall experience rewarding.
It seemed that the Endeavour Track participants had a wonderful and insightful (perhaps holly and jolly too!) experience “unwrapping” their present(ation)s.
We hope that the participants will continue to enjoy the “festive” spirit of SIMC2.0, especially for the Explore Track participants during the AI Festival tomorrow!
