Endeavour Track 2026

25 – 29 May 2026 | NUS High School of Mathematics and Science, Singapore

About the Endeavour Track

The Endeavour Track is the international competition track of the Singapore International Mathematical and Computational Challenge (SIMC 2.0). Open to schools worldwide, it brings together exceptional students to tackle a rigorous mathematical and computational modelling challenge based on real-world applications.

The Endeavour Track is open to students aged 16 to 18 years old, or studying the equivalent of Grades 10 to 12 as of Year 2026. Each school may send one team of three students.

Nature of the Challenge

SIMC 2.0 is a mathematical and computational modelling challenge based on real-world applications. The challenge is set by a senior faculty member of the National University of Singapore.

Teams will work on the challenge independently. Each team may use any resources such as textbooks, computers, and materials available on the internet. Any use of AI tools must be acknowledged, and a record of the prompts used and responses generated must be documented and submitted. Teams are required to submit a declaration of integrity.

The challenge has two components:

Firstly, teams will submit a full written report of their solutions.

Secondly, teams will present their solutions to a panel of judges in an oral presentation. Each team will have 20 minutes to present, followed by a 10-minute Question and Answer session. Teams are not expected to cover every part of the challenge — judges will select specific sections for clarification and elaboration.
